Distribution Channels

Push SMS
Retromedya has unrivalled SMS reach through the operators in Turkey—providing 100% GSM coverage for push SMS services. RPN offers both service reliability and availability, using multiple routes to each destination and its dedicated, privately-owned SS7 and IP networks.

Premium SMS
Retromedya has premium SMS agreements in place with operators in Turkey. Premium SMS services are with a full range of tariffs and common short codes and the RPN enable us to provide guidelines on local codes of practice and operator rules for launching premium services.

MMS
Retromedya has an MMS platform that enables the delivery of MMS messages to subscribers. Customers can also deliver MMS using a WAP push request through the Push Proxy Gateway (PPG). Subscribers then download the MMS directly from the customer's server.

WAP Push
WAP push can be sent in one of three ways:

  • Using Push Proxy Gateway (PPG) via a remote API
  • Using the Content Manager, featuring a user-friendly Web interface; content is then delivered via the PPG
  • Using binary SMS delivered via messaging hub
